In honour of National Women's History Month here is a collage of women that we are inspired by!

Some examples of why we are inspired by these incredible women:

Hana-Rāwhiti Maipi-Clarke

Hana made history as the youngest Māori woman in New Zealand’s Parliament. In November 2024, she led a haka in protest, tearing up legislation that threatened Māori rights. Her act sparked a 1,000km hikoi (protest march), uniting over 35,000 people in a call for Indigenous sovereignty.

Malala Yousafzai

Malala is a human rights advocate for the education of women and children in her native homeland, Swat, where the Pakistani Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school. She was shot by the Taliban in 2012 at 15 years old but she survived and has made an incredible recovery and continues to advocate for the education of women and children.

Alicia Garza

Alicia is an American civil rights activist and writer known for co-founding the Black Lives Matter movement. She is a recognized advocate for social and racial justice, with a particular focus on issues affecting marginalized communities, including Black women, LGBTQ+ people, and immigrants.

Happy National Women's History Month to all the amazing women in the world! ♥
